The Drafting and Design Process

Initial
Client Meeting

Meeting with Clients is a vital part of the process. Here we gather all the information needed to do preliminary drawings.

Preliminary Drawings

Preliminary drawings are the initial plans that are prepared by a draftsperson. These are used in the early stages of development. These drawings are not for construction purposes, but are used for design concepts, material selection, floor plans, and many other data.

Construction Drawings

Construction drawings provide much more detailed information for the contractor to be able build off of. All our Construction Drawing packages are stamped with our BCIN and ready for permit application.

Permit Application

Allow our team to make the permit application seamless by having us take care of the entire application process. This can include applications to Conservation Authorities, Minor Variance applications or Zoning Amendments and regular building permits.

3D Render

A 3D render is to show a photorealistic image before the construction has started. This helps clients have a visual understanding of what they are building.

THE TEAM AT JDC WAS AMAZING TO WORK WITH - DOWN-TO-EARTH AND PROFESSIONAL. I GOT EXACTLY WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR AND STILL FEEL SO LUCKY TO CALL THIS OUR HOME! CUSTOM WAS THE BEST WAY TO GO AND FROM DESIGN RIGHT THROUGH TO THE BUILD - HANDS-DOWN AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!
